The Shoshone River flows through Cody in a fairly deep canyon. The area around the river is a city park with hiking trails.
This is the poster for Buffalo Bill’s show on Long Island, New York, in 1886 and 1887.

You have highlighted some places I never knew existed, Glenn. Good job! Makes me want to follow in your footsteps.
Debbie and I will have to fly the Bonanza to one of the spots you will be touring and spend the day venturing with you two!
By the way, if your travels ever take you to Arizona and you want to visit a place that is famous but is not really a tourist trap, visit Tombstone. It is a step back in time and the locals actually live in the area and work in the salons, stores and dance halls just as their ancestors did over a century ago.
What a ride and what an adventure you guys are in and on.
Glenn,
Hope your keeping well.
