We drove to the West Chester KOA in Pennsylvania. It’s actually in a very small place called Embreeville, 30 miles west of center city Philadelphia, as the crow flies. It was accessible over a very narrow road with narrow bridges, sharp turns and step hills. It was worth the drive as the place was bucolic.
Jill’s brother Bill and sister Anita drove out to visit with us. Later we ate at Mama’s Pizzeria. Jill had read about it in Gourmet Magazine. They said “Mama’s Pizzeria in Bala Cynwyd makes a magnificent steak.” In Philadelphia that means a cheese steak. We were not disappointed. Just don’t call it a Philly Cheesesteak. Not around here.
