We drove to Baltimore to explore the city. Glenn's maternal grandparent's lived there when he was a child. Their old home on Grantley Road looked much the same as he had remembered it. It is now a group home and the owner invited us in for a look.
He and his wife have done a lot of work to bring the house back. The hardwood floors have been restored. The interior layout is much the same as it was in the 1950's, although the kitchen and bathroom have been enlarged.
This is a picture of Glenn and his brother Bob in front of the same fireplace in 1955. That would have made Bob 3 to 4 and Glenn 6 to 7. Glenn's uncle Ed took the picture.
